These come out top in the us, so i decided to spend that bit more. The design is fun and they are easily sharp enough. I like the the tips are rounded. Our daughter is a real wriggler, so i found it hard to cut her nails unless she is asleep.
And she doesn't like to sleep during the day. A friend showed me how it's done. You give the child the cover/sheath for the scissors to play with and chew and meanwhile cut the other hand, whilst she's wide awake. I'm not sure of the bpa content and am sure that the cover isn't designed to be eaten, but does help to get nails cut.
