The Best Deluxe Bath Seat

Review and Buying Guide of The Best Deluxe Bath Seat

Good but not as sturdy as i'd have liked. While the style of this seat is great and the opening front is a bonus- beware. We've had our seat only a few weeks and it is already broken. Firstly it slid onto the floor after having being cleaned and a piece of plastic splintered off leaving a sharp edge. Fortunately this was in a place which my baby couldn't come in contact with.

Then this evening when trying to remove the seat from the bottom of the bath to drain the water out, the plastic catch that supports the back rest snapped off, making the seat now unsafe to use. This happened because the suckers to hold the seat in place are so strong (a good thing)that it is very difficult to move the seat after a bath. I feel that stronger, more rubbery material would solve the problem.

My little girl loves this chair from the 1st time we used it. It was easy to open and close and can be done with one hand (which is a huge bonus). Because the front bar can be opened and closed it means that when lifting the baby out of the bath your not scraping babies legs against hard plastic; which was a design flaw in other bath seats i looked at. I would highly recommend this product to anyone else who has a wriggly baby who loves to splash in the bath.

Pros

  • The best bath seat.
  • good but not as sturdy as I'd have liked!
