Negative Review of Fisher-Price Aquarium Bath Centre

Looks nice, but we had been spoilt by our table-height bath/changing table. . Having a cosatto easi peasi changing unit (spotti dotti) at home, and having a hand-me-down bath that clips sidewise over any bath to use at my parents, we needed something to bathe our son with in spain when visiting our inlaws. They bought this portable bath which looked lovely. However it can't be clipped sideways over the bath, is too heavy to transport easily when full of water, and thus seemed to us to need to be in the bath. Leaning into the bath is a real pain in the back when you have been spoilt with an changing-table height bath, or even the one that clipped onto the top the bath.

It may just me showing my age, but the extra money spent on the cosatto was money well spent.

Good Purchase. The only thing i would mention, the hanging sling actually touches the bottom of the tab, so i still need to use one hand to support my baby. I was expecting for a full hands free support.

Love This Bath. I love this bath, simply put - because our little girl loves it. From when our girl was a few weeks old, we were using this bath, she sits into the sling perfect, and the first time she sat in it she smiled, and loved it. In fact, most of the pictures we took of our girl with her first big happy smiles were taken whilst she was in this bath. Not everyone recommends it but we now bath her every night (she's nearly a year old now) in this, simply because she loves it. As she got bigger and loved to splash everywhere so we had to move this off the table and into the actual bat - filling it in there and letting her bath in it in there. Only flaw with this is the back ache that comes with, kneeling down and leaning in is the only way. After a few months, we had to take the sling off, and she sits in and the middle section is perfect for preventing her slipping and sliding. Since she could sit up on her own no problem, we could have taken this section out but chose not to. Now, nearly a year on, our girl can walk - and she loves to stand up in the bath and try to reach things because her toys are not as interesting as the shower head or the taps. :) so, i'm not sure how much more good use we're going to get out of it, it's probably more dangerous having her stand up and trying to step out over this into the big bath. Any day now, i'll be rummaging for more storage space to put this away. Probably the only other minus about this product, it's big and bulky. But its not a major problem as i love how much she loved it!.

Terrific Bath But. First of all let me say i love this bath and would buy it again in a heart beat. We have used this from our baby being being new born and it has cradled her perfectly as she has grown, using the sling attached at both ends, then one end and then lastly without the sling using the bumper in the middle. It has meant i have had both hands free to play and bathe her. I can't imagine how difficult bath times would have been without it. However the reason for the four stars is that my daughter is now five months old, and is sitting up. She wants to be into and grabbing everything. Because of the bumper in the middle she can't properly sit up in the tub and get to everything. I can sit her at the deeper end but she has to be side ways on and is leaning to get her toys side ways, which is a bit restrictive. My daughter is big for age though, her cousin is one and the same size as her, so perhaps smaller babies would be able to sit better in it. The other thing to be aware of is that mould does grow under the bumper, you can eradicate this though by sticking some domestos in and leaving it to soak. Also the thermometer measures a bit cold, but i think this is common with most baby baths, our daughter was a lot happier with the unsmiley face than the smiley one. But we did always test it ourselves first. All in all though it has been a brilliant bath and made bath time a lot easier and more enjoyable for us as first time parents. .

Conclusion of Fisher-Price Aquarium Bath Centre

This is amazing- i'm a first time mum but i'm an aunt of 4 and so i've given them all baths- and i've dropped every one of them at least once in the bath because they turn into slippery little bars of soap so they accidentally slip under and although i lift them quickly and its no harm done; its still the most awful feeling- so for my daughter (who is only 2 weeks old) i decided to try this bath- attracted to the fact that i wouldn't ever have to say i'd dropped my baby in the bath- and its brilliant- she lies really well in the hammock and the barrier in the middle keeps her head out of the water- its also really easy to assemble and its easy to empty the water out of the little plug. We've been using this bath since our little one was a couple of weeks old. For a newborn it makes bath time so easy due to the sling, the sling leaves both of your hands free as soon as baby can support their own head. Great product which not only looks good, but most importantly is both practical and a great help for new parents at bath time. I love this bath, simply put - because our little girl loves it.

Yes, this bath won't last them forever, but surely most babies advance to the big bath fairly quickly anyway, using a bath seat/ring?i would recommend this to all my friends as the perfect bath for a baby.

At the time of posting this, the bath is at 54. Definitely one of the best items i've purchased. My 3 month old son loves splashing around in his aquarium bath and i love watching him have so much fun. Would definitely recommend this. Bathing my newborn seemed terrifying i used an ordinary baby bath tub but found it hard to hold him and wash at same time. Helps to bath my 1 month old daughter easily. She really enjoys her bath time.

I was able to wash my baby since she was born using this bath, now she is 16 months and i still use it, although it is getting small now :)the best feature is that you don't have to hold the baby all the time, you have at least one free handit is a bit more expensive but it is worth it. Seems lovely have not used it as of yet my baby is due in 4weeks cant wait to use the new bath. My wee fella loves having a bath, and this tub is awesome. After reading lots of great reviews on this bath we bought it for our first baby and it has turned out to be every bit as good as we hoped it would be. I bought this bath for my friends baby and had no hesitation in purchasing it.

I was charged 40 odd pound for the bath with p&p but when the bath came a price tag in it said a lot lower than what i had paid.

Fantastic!. As a new mum, i did a lot of research over what bath to buy. I decided on this one becuase i wanted the confidence of not drowning her! this is exactly what this bath gives you. I don't know how people manage without the sling! my daughter is now 6 months old and i still use the sling, although now she can sit up i'll take it out soon. Other reviewers have commented on the support getting in the way but you can remove this. Definitely one of the best items i've purchased!.

Great !!. This is a good product enough room to hold the baby in she loves it, the hammock feature is useful and safe. Great product quality from fischer price as usual. .
