Cassandra hot water bottle. This item was very useful with the weather we have been having. Lovely and packaged beautifully.

They look great but haven't had occasion to use them yet - waiting for christmas visitors to stay.

I choose this product because it was supposed to be a full sized hot water bottle - it is not. . After one night it leaked destroyed new mattress and bed linen. Sent item back but never received refund.

Safety Warning
When filling this hot water bottle do not use boiling water and fill to a maximum of two-thirds capacity. Hold the bottle by the neck in an upright position and fill slowly to avoid hot water splashing back. Expel air from the bottle by lowering it carefully onto a flat surface until water appears at the opening. Screw the stopper sufficiently tight to ensure that ther is no leakage. Finger tight should be adequate. Do not fill using water from a domestic hot water system as this can considerably shorten the life of the hot water bottle. Prevent contact with hot surfaces. Prevent contact with oil or grease. When not in use drain completely and keep with the stopper removed in a cool, dry dark place. Prevent exposure to sun light. Do not place anything on top of the bottle. Check the bottle and stopper for wear and damage at regular intervals. WARNING: Hot water bottles can cause burns. Avoid prolonged direct contact with the skin.

Not Cassandra But Just As Good Hot Water Bottles!. I bought these originally because they were advertised as 'cassandra' hot water bottles. However, they are not that make. (the seller told me that other people change their description online and his ad gets altered accordingly. - hmmm. Don't know if i believe that, but anyway. . )as i was desperate for a new hot water bottle at the time - in very cold weather - i decided to keep the bottles, regardless - intending to swap them for cassandra bottles later. However, i am very pleased with these bottles. Not only do they do the job (of keeping me warm) very well, but they also have excellent stoppers - large, easy to use, and effective. In fact, when i later got 2 proper cassandra bottles, i had to return 1 straightaway as its stopper did not make the bottle watertight, so i am now going to buy more of these 'not cassandra' bottles!.

Hot Purchase!. Bought two hot water bottles to replace aging items. They are good quality and the price is very reasonable, especially as there was no delivery charge. They arrived within a couple of days. My only quibble: the bottles were shown in three colours, blue, pink and a shade of brick. One was not able to choose the colours required. I wanted blue and pink, but got blue and the nondescript shade. That was annoying. .

With the shops full of tacky rubbish, a simple old-fashioned un-themed hot water bottle that a bloke wouldn't be embarrassed to take to bed proved impossible to find on the high street. I didn't receive a cassandra hot water bottle, i received a comfisure hot water bottle instead, which i found strange. This hot water bottle however is perfectly fine, and is a perfect alternative, double ribbed on both sides and with a plastic plug so you don't burn yourself. Hot water bottle is well made and excellent quality,very good price, fast delivery, very good service, would buy again from them. I was disappointed when i received this hot water bottle to discover how small it is.

My old hot water bottle, purchased in boots in 2004 measured 9' (inches) by 12' (14. 5' (13' including the neck), and thus holds proportionately less water, about 70% of the volume of my old bottle. With this reduced thermal capacity, the cassandra bottle does not retain a sufficiently high temperature throughout the night to meet its purpose. I cannot decide whether it is the global warming faction or the health and safety brigade who have put pressure on the water bottle manufacturers, but it has deprived us of much needed warm comfort during long cold nights. Love a good hot water bottle, the ribbed part is great as when the water is hot when it first goes in it does not burn your skin, you can then turn it over when it cools to re-heat your feet.

Ideal for those cold evenings and nights that are just not going away this year. I have had problems with bottles leaking but find the cassandra brand tend to be more reliable than the other cheaper ones. Not much one can say about hot waterbottles ,this is a pretty colour and it doesthe job it was meant too. The hot water bottle is just right for use on the medical problems that i have a good service quick and quality. This is an excellent item and the ribs stop it from burning. Well made - probably as good as it gets for a hot water bottle. This hot water lasted just a few months before leaking, have had water boltless that last a lot longer.

The hole for the water is a bit smaller than normal also, so careful how you pour that hot water in. The hotwater bottle is absolutely amazing and exceeded all expectation.

Functional Yet Not So Robust. This is a budget buy bottle. I bought 2. Unfortunately one developed pin hole leaks within 8 months of usepossibly influenced by narrow filling neck / small diameter screw cap region. Consider hit and miss on quality. Seller was very efficient and i have no issues as it was well used before it failed thus ok.

Does Exactly What It Says On the Tin. This is exactly as decribed. Not sure about the colours may vary statement; we ordered two and both were pink!.
