Buying Guide of Anti-Pressure Baby Head Support Pillow

So so glad we bought this pillow as it really works. Bought it when my baby was 3 months old, he loved being on his back and hated being on his tummy. Never knew much about flathead as he's my 1st baby, so was distraught when i woke one morning and noticed his head was very flat. The pillow works instantly, within the 1st week i noticed a massive difference, also he is never on the back of his head unless we changing him, or he's sleeping (on his pillow).

We've bought a carrier which he loves and we carry him and walk everywhere, as we are determined and are doing everything possible to get his head rounded. He is now 5 months and what a difference, his head is still not completely round but we are getting there. It looks 100 times better than before and people can't believe the difference. Def recommend if you worried about flathead but a big tip. Because the pillow has a hole, when he moves his head from side to side his ears fold over, so (sounds terrible) but we tape his ears with plasters so they don't fold over. He doesn't know any different and it doesn't hurt him at all.

I can't rate this pillow enough. My daughter is 3 months old an prefered to sleep/lay one side which was causin a flattness to her head. I searched for pillows and decide to go mid price range as they do vary. As soon as 2 days u could notice she was getting her roundness back. The only disadvantage was it took a week to arrive. An when worried about your little ones head it would of been ideal to have the option of next day delivery.

Worried Parents!! Buy This!!. I bought this product after my baby had quite a severe flat spot at the side of her head at the age of 8 weeks. She developed it after continually lying with her head to the right no matter how much i moved her! the doctor referred her to see a consultant about it as it got so bad her ears looked different sizes and the side of her face looled flat! whilst waiting for the appointment to come through i began to research the problem on the internet and was even contemplating one of those helmets i was so worried. But i came across these pillows and thought i'd try this whilst waiting to the see consultant. She had her appointment this week and the difference is amazing. She is 5 months old now. The doctor took one look and wondered what i was worrying about. I did tell him about this pillow, and he said it is what they recommend for this situation. There is still a slight flat spot but he said it will even itself out even more as she grows. I will continue to use this pillow. Keep pictures of your babies head as you use this product and you will be amazed by the results. And lastly, for all you parents worrying please don't! buy this product! :-).

Great Product. I bought this in september for my baby girl who was then 3 months old. Her head had started to flatten at the back from about 6 weeks and i was really concerned that it would never right itself. Had the same problem with my eldest daughter and tried every 'positioning' technique going without success. Unfortunately, the flattening on her head didn't right itself. Thank goodness she now has lots of hair! was determined not to let that happen again and so decided to try one of these pillows. Was a little concerned about the sid risk (all the advice is not to allow your baby to sleep with a pillow) but have not had any problem. My little one has slept soundly with this pillow for the last 3 months. Her head rounded out again within about 4 weeks of use. So pleased i took the plunge! would recommend it to anyone. .

Well Worth It. I bought this pillow for my granddaughter who was developing a flat head. After 3 weeks use we are starting to see a difference in the shape of her head, which is beginning to look rounder again. Well worth it, but it would be even nicer if the hospital staff warn mothers (especially 1st time mothers) that this could happen due to their having to lie on their backs all the time!.

Its small and compact, if i am visiting someone during the day, i will bring it with me so as the baby can kick about on the floor without putting pressure on the back of her head. Everyone told us to avoid pillows for the first few months, after all. By the time flat head developed, he would automatically put his head on one side, and if we tried to put it the other way he just turned it straight back, so the problem was getting worse and worse. He's now 5 and a half months and you'd honestly never know he'd had an odd-looking head a few weeks ago. I'm almost wishing we had two now, as it's easy to forget the pillow when you're tired and stressed and wanting to get to your newly-awoken son before his screaming wakes up the other kids, and it would be good to have one for the playmat downstairs as well as for his cot(quite pricey for that though, better perhaps to make the extra trip up/downstairs each time you forget). We started using this when dd was 3. 5m, to fix the flat back of the head.

I haven't noticed rapid improvement as the other reviewers, however just to give some reassurance to mums who wonder if flat head improves with age - our baby is now 6m and the head indeed improved naturally. 5m we did see the cranial development specialist here in the uk and he said that this pillow only really helps if used at the very early age, before the child starts moving the head around. I think the pillow made a difference to my sons flat head. He's now wriggling about in his cot so it is no longer used but he used it for a few months until he wriggled off it and his head is now a better shape. I ordered it little late and little transformation was visible in teh shape o head of my baby.

Baby is now 6 months, and his head is a beautiful perfectly round shape. If you're concerned about the shape of your baby's head, give this pillow a go and i'm sure it will help. We bought this pillow as our son had developed a very pronounced flat spot on the left side of his head due to his preferred sleeping position. After 8 weeks of repositioning with no improvement, three visits to the doctors who were not interested in helping stating it would correct itself, the unsuccessful use of another pillow and lots of tears on my part we bought this pillow thinking anything is worth a try.

If you are at all worried then buy one of these, they are nice and flat but support the head just enough to lift the pressure from one side or the back. I think once they have a flat spot, they findy it difficult to find another comfy position so it stays that way but with a bit of help from this pillow, they move head to both sides. However he then got strong enough to roll his head off the pillow so it had a very limited use. I used this pillow for my daughters flat head when she turned 3 months, for one month only, as it was no longer needed. It didn't cure my sons flat head but at least i knew i was doing something about it.

I noticed at 9 weeks that he had developed a rather flat head. After only 10 days my sons head is now lovely and round. The pillow is made of low quality material, it definitely works, however it went quite flat after less than a month without washing it. My baby head was flat on the side and long at the back cos he was preterm and spent long time in the incubator and always put by nurses only in on side. My baby head now has a nice shape.

After using it for almost 4 weeks now i can honestly say that my little boys head is now almost round again. I wasn't sure when i received it whether it would do the trick as it looked quite small and i thought he would roll off it during the night, but the shape of it keeps him on it all night, i have only had to move him up a couple of times since getting it. It is washable which it needs to be as it doesn't come with a removable cover, but it does dry pretty quickly. I made sure that i put him on the pillow during day time naps and time on his playmat. The price is a little on the expensive side, but it is definitely worth it. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a solution to flat head problems. .
